J2write adds a framework around our most popular writing tools, providing lesson plans and examples.
Whether you are using JIT with early years, j2bloggy with Year 6 or above, or something in-between, there is a set of lesson plans to help you get started.
Easily see work that has been blogged from other schools to give you further ideas and inspiration. Also, encourage your class to leave comments on another school’s blog work and ask them to do the same.
Any of the work that is created can be blogged using the esafe blogging tools in the Tool Suite. This gives an audience and purpose to the work. Parents and others can leave a comment on work, which is visible once a teacher has approved it.
There are sections on learning objectives and outcomes, cross curricular links, extension activities, and assessment. The detailed lesson plans help you though classroom use of the tools, step by step. They can easily be adapted to work with whatever topic your class is currently working on.
“Having invested in both the JIT5 tools for Foundation and KS1 and J2e5 for KS2, 3 and 4 we know we have a comprehensive selection of innovative online tools that can be used in a wide variety of contexts to suit many different aspects of the curriculum.”
